Shake well and add contents to 110g ( 3.9oz) of sugar and 1.4L ( 47 US fl oz) of 40% ABV distilled spirit or vodka.
Top up to 2.25L ( 76 US fl oz) with water. Stirr to dissolve
Makes three 750ml ( 25 US fl oz ) bottles.
Serve 1 measure of Summer cup No.1 with 2 to 3 measures of lemonade or ginger-ale. Serve with ice and a slice of orange or lemon.
