A dependable all-round powdered steriliser suited to almost any brewing or distilling setup. Ideal for those who want a classic sulphite-based sterilising method that is effective, economical, and widely used in home brewing. Helps prevent spoilage by controlling wild yeast and bacteria.
Instructions:
Wash cleaned equipment in a solution of 50 g Sodium Metabisulphite to 4.5 L of warm water. Allow equipment to stand for 30 minutes to dry, then rinse with clean cold water.
Due to these antibacterial and antioxidation properties, SODIUM METABISULPHITE is frequently used to preserve dried foods, canned goods, corn syrup and fruit concentrates. This allows the food to keep for much longer, and prevents discolouration and mould.
